According to users demand there is a wide range of twines produced regarding diameter and breaking strength.
The twines are most commonly packed in balls, but the forms of spool, hank, is also possible as well as twines cut into exact lengths and than packed in bales.

Fields of application:
Natural twines have a long established tradition in the meat industry. Sausages, salamis, smoked bacon and many other meat products are dried and smoke-cured with the usage of premium quality natural colour hemp twines such as the Nm 2/1,75, Nm 2/1,25 and Nm 3/3,5 types. Besides these the tricolour twines are also used for decorating purposes.
Thicker, more resistant twines, such as the 2/0,40 and 4/0,70 types are widely used during the processing of tobacco. The surface of the twine is smooth, it has a high value of breaking strength and it also resists the acidic liquids that are present in the stem of the tobacco plant. In Hungary, the main areas of tobacco cultivation are on the eastern part of the Great-Hungarian-Plain. The quality of tobacco grown there has a reputation abroad.
The Hungarian and the European craft-makers have again discovered this acient natural material that can easily be applied in the traditional crafts techiques as well as together with today’s modern creative and hobby techniques.
